I read part of the book, but found it was an endurance test, I did not finish it as I found it stupid and badly written.

I have just finished reading Ps, I Love You and all i can say it wow. I dont read much but that book amazed me. It made me think, it made me smile, It made me cry happy and sad tears and it made me so happy to be living the life i live. Happy in love and hoping nothing like that ever happens to me as i could not lose my lovedone. I want to buy the movie now to see how the differ and how they compare. I loved the book so much i am concidering re-reading it. I loved it!!!! Can anyone recommend any other good books like this that i may enjoy??

Hello! On May 6, 2009 I am leading our library's fiction book club discussion of the book "There's No Place Like Here". This is my first time out as moderator of this group, and I was dismayed to realize there is no pre-existing prepared discussion questions. At least, I couldn't find any after a good long Web search.
Can anyone help out or point me in the right direction? Has anyone done this book in a discussion group and be willing to share your questions?

I want to thank Cecelia for the way "PS I Love You" has helped me. I lost my wife to primary liver cancer last April, but had been unable to cry for her. A very good friend has been helping me through the grieving process, and when she came over just before Christmas, she decorated the tree for me. That triggered it, but is was the fact that I had bought that book (not a book I would normally be attracted to!)that helped me to cry - for the whole weekend!
I feel so very much helped! Obviously I am still just as lonely, and miss my wife just as much, but feel so much calmer and able to face the future.
This afternoon, as I write, I shall be seeing my oncologist, to be told that I will be on chemotherapy for my prostate cancer. I know I have about a year to live, but can face that with increased courage.

To Cecelia.
I have read A Place called Here and it is the best book i have ever read. It was totally unputdownable, i loved this book, it was magical, enchanting and i found myself with plenty of things in common with your main character of the book. I also found myself being totally lost in a enchanting world in this book, i would definitely recommend A Place called Here to anyone.

Can i leave a message for Cecelia if i can please, i am looking for a collection of emails that my mother gave to her when she came to Easons in Cork. I am looking for that collection of emaila back if i can please, it is the only copy i have left. It is a collection of emails i sent to my brother Michael when he was in Korea and Japan from the dates 1995 to 2000. He is now in China, they were a great reference of events during those years.

I have read most of Cecelia Ahern's books, and am reading my way through them all. I find her to be an enchanting writer. I don't know how she manages to make each book so different from the rest. Some authors find a winning formula and stick to the same plots. Not so with this clever author. Long may she have the inspiration to keep writing. Each book is a delight!

I thought the film was terrible. Hilary Swank was miscast as Holly and the changes they made were astronomical. I bought it one day and watched it and put it on ebay the next day. I wish I had stuck with the book cos that was brilliant. Funny and moving.

I wanted to get this question to Cecilia on her official website, but i didn't find a link that allowed me to ask... Anyway, I read P.S: I Love You, and watched the movie, however, when i came to compare them, i found differences, not only slight ones, but major ones as well; there are a lot of significant events that are crossed out of the movie as well as drastically changing other. So, my question is: Did Cecilia have any say in the movie script? If yes, why did she agree to changing the events? If no, was it ok with to such a turn and change?
