Karen is my favorite author. I can't decide which of her books is my favorite, but I lean towards To Trust a Stranger. I like the way she develops a relationship between the characters before they ultimately wind up in the sack. The sex in her books is graphic without being vulgar. I always buy one of her books before I have to do something I don't like, then read it as a reward!

That's nice. Thanks. Just don't understand were the reviewer got that part from.

I have Paradise County in hard back and I'll check on it for you but it doesn't seem familiar to me either. Of course it's been some time since I read it.

"All goes as planned until Neily falls hard for Eli Welch, whose father owns the broken-down farm that borders Whistledown. Always protective of her trusting little sister, Alex sets out to confront Eli's father and make sure Eli is not just after the Haywood money." This is part of a review of "paradise county". I can't recall this ever happened. Is this something that's not i the paperback?

This is a little late for Frances but I wanted to state my case. If a romance book doesn't have sex in it and good, hot sex at that I get mad. I probably won't buy that author again. I'm not talking erotica books-those leave me cold-but good old fashioned steamy details. I'm glad KR writes books that appeal to you. You might want to try Lavyrle Spencer and even though she has now retired she wrote several in her time.

I love to find an author I like and eventually buy all his or her books. Your "Hunter's Moon" was one of the best novels I have ever read, and I read a tremendous amount of books. The characters seemed so real, esp since I knew some just like the 2 main ones. The plot was good and plausible also. And I do not recall sex scenes. I only like the "can't put down" books and it was one of them. It was truly a memorable book that I read quite a while back but it still comes to mind. But I just finished "Nobody's Angel." While I liked it in many ways, there was just too much sex, and explicit at that. That puts it in the tawdry romance class for me. I don't mind the characters having sex but I don't want paragraphs and pages describing it. The better authors don't do that, as it cheapens the novel. You are too good for that. Your talent has been recognized so you don't need that to sell your novels. If you have more like "Hunter's Moon," without explicit sex, I'd love to know and buy them. Sincerely, Frances Tessier
