I think we'll be seeing plenty of Red in the next book. Remember the Tortalus wasn't destroyed and the Zidians managed to capture a lot of humans during the invasion. I'm wondering how the Zidians are going to deal with the superior Infinian technology ie "force field jamming"

In my opinion Red is one of the most interesting characters in the whole novel. His story is one of the best parts of the book even though it's just a side plot. BJ Bennett left it wide open for Red to be in the sequel. I hope we see a lot more of Red Styler. I do wonder if Jack will ever find out that Red is alive?

The side plot with Red was great. I liked the story. Its got everything an adventure needs. Heroes, villains, and lots and lots and lots of aaaaaction!

Hopefully the sequel will be edited better, but I guess that comes with experience. Still though, there is lots to say for the story itself. I've read a lot of the self published books out there that are so filled with errors you can barely read them. THUNDER IN SPACE is by no means a flawless work, but I've seen books that pale in comparison. The story it told caught my imagination and left me wanting more. He really does need to work on his grammar and punctuation. That will make him a much better author.

While I applaud Mr. Bennett's initiative, he really should have edited/proofread his manuscript before submitting it to his publisher. The errors in grammar and the misuse of words prevented my enjoyment of the book. Mr. Bennett, if you are reading this, I wish this to be constructive criticism, as I would like to see you succeed as an author. Some of the errors I spotted were: )1 lack of proper punctuation in most sentences. )2 incorrect use of words; example: using "there" as the possessive "their", use of "threw" as a preposition "through", use of "coarse" for "course" (as in plotting a course). )3 many more grammatical errors. Even though I found much wrong, I did like your method of establishing the background for the story and I thought that the story itself was inventive. Please understand that I am writing this so that you will improve your writing skills, not to discourage you from future writing. I want you to succeed! Good luck.

I found out the title of the sequel. "Thunder in Space: Counterstrike" Also BJ Bennett is having a book signing in Jackson Mississippi at North Park Mall.

I found out that the space force will have a mark 2 Star Sword in the sequel. It's gonna have missiles and shields and it's gonna be atmosphere capable.

My friend knows the author. That's where I got my copy of the book. I think he said that BJ Bennett is writing the sequel along with a couple of other things and that he should have it finished within a year.
