Jimradio posts on 6/16/2005 8:53:27 PM This is an intelligent and (mostly) sensitive portrayal of a family recovering from the suicide of a parent. Unfortunately, both of the father's in the book are not drawn as carefully and with the sensitivity as the other characters. Dale in particular is virtually a cartoon...another crazed Vietnam vet. If the fathers had been more carefully established this would have been a better book.
