One fears to be a mother of a boy. Can a mother really destroy the possibility of other women's love for her son? Can a mother be so selfcentered to let go her son? Is this an extreme example or all mothers of sons are somehow devoted to their sons and expect the same? Beautifully put confusions of a young man going between physical love and 'revolution'.

What a fantastic book. I don't even think the words 'heavy philosophy' sum up the complex philosophical content. This book has given me a new light with which I view my life and is deffinately worth a thorough read on more than one occassion.
