I love this book it made me think that Parvana was a brave girl and i thought i was brave well i was wrong she is brave for her age.

The Breadwinner is a must read for every American. Understanding the human condition in Afghanistan is crucial. The Taliban is not anymore represenative to their way of life as the KKK is to ours....women of the world unite

I had to read this for a book reportt and thought that it was going to be a really bad book but I was totaly wrong. I would recomened this book to anyone!!!!!

the book BREDWINNER i think was the best book i ever read!and kept me intrested all the way through i would recomend it to any one

Bread winner series's author is actually trying put the afghan problems and the suitation in a book. I read the book and I think it is one of the best book I ever read. This book actually teaches lots of kids in canada and america to not to waste food and other stuff they shouldn't be wasting.. This book rocks !

I read this book and I really like it and I undrestand how life is hard for a afghan girl in Afghanistan .
I'm from Afganistan too,but I never been there and I never thought the life gonna be that hard for a family in afghanistan
I really want to thanks her about writing this book and she really told the world about a Afghan girl in Afghanistam

The Breadwinner is a story about an Afgan girl who has to pretend to be a boy to support her family when her father is taken to prison by the Taliban goverment. An inspiring novel about survival, poverty, and love for your country.
