The ending to the book says Billy went to a low security prison and escaped via boat to greece. But the movie presents a completely different way of escape, BOTH are great simply for the fact that you got the ...of there. Personally, like the movies depiction of your escape. Another question I have is were you able to go back and get out Billy the englishman? And what and how have you been doing all these years? I hope to hear from you. By the way, was there any news articles written up in response to your final return home.
