Anonymous posts on 6/6/2005 4:01:23 PM In his book, he said that only, and I mean ONLY males will appreciate sharks because of their ways of dinosaurs. Well I definitley oppose to that because I am a girl who happens to love sharks as much as males do.
Dianne Rogers posts on 5/5/2005 4:42:05 PM Dear P. Benchley, After reading Shark Trouble, I went to the library and found The Girl of the Sea of Cortez. It's a wonderful story and so pertinent; GOTSOC is my favorite of all your fiction. How does one go about getting a book back in print? It seems so ironic that there is so much lesser literature (trash actually)that is constantly reprinted. Yours is a book that should be on every young (and old)person's reading list. I thoroughly enjoyed Shark Trouble as well. Bless you for your unswerving dedication to the ocean and its inhabitants. The GWS is my favorite sea animal and one of the most poignant examples of true diversity and misunderstanding on our planet. I am an English teacher and would like to have GOTSOC in my classroom in sufficient numbers to make it MANTATORY:) Any suggestions?
David Pecchia posts on 5/1/2005 10:37:00 PM Hello, I have a mint copy of the novel, Jaws hardcover. I was wondering if anyone knew on how I could get it signed from Peter Benchley? Any information would be great. ~Thank you.
