As you can see from the message board, I tried to contact Anita Mills several years ago. I just wanted to let her know what an immense impact her books have had on me. An author who stated that she knew her e-mailed me to say that Ms. Mills was well but retired.
Her retirement was a blow to the romance genre. Good luck in your search.

I've been searching for Anita for years. We worked together in the '80s when she was still involved in education. My last contact with her was when she was living in a town North of Kansas City. MO. Can anyone help me find Anita?

Her last medieval book left me hanging. The characters were celebrating the birth of twins and there was a hint that the next book would deal with the conflict between these two boys. I still long for that book that never was.
Her medieval series I have read and reread numerous times. I keep them on the "special" shelf in my library!

Anita Mills retired from writing to enjoy her family.
This info was posted on the Romance Readers Anonymous website in December, 2003. There is a section called "Where Are They Now?"

I, also, have looked in vein for more recent novels by Anita Mills - I'd sure like to get some - I've read most of her older ones, and have begun to reread those I have (and that's saying something - I rarely find an author in the romance genre who is worth reading more than once).
Sure would like to hear she is still writing!

Is this author still writing? I can't find any of her books in the local stores nor can I find much info about her on the internet
