Martha Goldhirsh Message Board

Amy Wolf posts on 7/16/2011 3:19:06 AM I grew up with Martha outside of Philadelphia in the suburbs. She knows nothing about being a poor farmer girl. And for someone who was so brilliant in high school, I was quite dismayed by how trite her writing was. I was even more dismayed by the blatant, egregious homophobia. Glad I didn't know she felt that way when we were neighbors. She is a much better musician than author.
Diane Cruz posts on 2/21/2007 6:26:37 PM I just finished reading Martha, Goldhirsh's book, Butterflies & Puppy Dog Tails. It was awesome. A great book. It seemed to hit real life on the head. The character's came to life. It seemed like you could relate to one or more of them and it felt like you were living the story. Hope Martha writes other books.
