i would first like to say my condolences to her family... i am sorry for the lose of such a fantastic author...each book i have read and enjoyed more than i can tell...i was saddened to read on the first page that she had passed away as this meant i would not have more of her work to look forward too...

Have read all four of her books but especially enjoyed Pride, Prejudice & Jasmine Field and Persuading Annie..your modern takes on these classics would make for great chick flicks at the movies! Would love to read more adaptations of Jane Austen's novels...perhaps Sense and Sensibility or Mansfield Park. Can't wait til your next book is available here in the US.

Amusing book in a rambling sort of way. But there's far too much "whispering" going on. Surely people don't whisper that much in real life? Not in my circle of friends they don't. Amazing how such a detail escapes an experienced author. Or do they all have laryngitis? It is, after all, rather infectious.
