Hi-
I'm a late bloomer, I'm just becoming familiar with China Bayles and her exploits. I love the books!! They are written with a good sense of humor and the characters are pretty believable--not always predictable. However, my favorite parts are the way China has of relating to her new son. She is not all drippy like most mothers in fiction and lets Brian do what he is interested in, within limits. Their relationship is very believable, to me, because this is how I've always treated my own kids and that is how we relate to each other.
Great job! Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
