I am doing a map of the England presented in "The Crystal Cave." I am trying to find out what importance the city Monmouth played. Any suggestions?

i must due a project by this friday on your book The Crystal Cave but everything i can think of does not suit the book what would you sugest i do that will suit your book.It is the only book i have read through fully and understood.

I am reading Crystal Cave and it is the best fantasy I have read since Harry Potter.

I know that this subject concerns a different Mary Stewart novel, but I wanted to write about an encounter I had with her years ago involving, at that time, one of her newer stories, "This Rough Magic". I enjoy many of her works, from "The Ivy Tree" to "The Gabriel Hounds" to "The Crystal Cave". But I think "This Rough Magic" was her greatest, because it captured what every gothic mystery sets out to do: create romance, mystery and suspense among a brooding setting. As for my encounter with the lovely Ms. Stewart, I was visiting London and was in a pub with a p/b copy of "This Rough Magic" slightly protruding from my coat pocket. Suddenly I feel the book being pulled from my pocket, and when I turn to catch the "thief", behold it's Mary Stewart herself! Having successfully "picked" my pocket, she smiled and commented on my "good taste in literature". She then autographed the book, writing, "may your pockets always get picked by friendly hands, Love Mary Stewart". Ironically, "This Rough Magic" is the only novel she wrote where a woman goes through a man's pocket (that I remember, anyway). So Mary darling, if you read this, please know that you made a fan for life by picking his pocket clean!

yeah, i like the book. it's kinda hard to understand sometimes, though, cuz it can use big words or old language, and it's really long. but other than that, it's pretty great (and you don't need cliffnotes, just READ IT(( lol, i should take my own advice)) )
