I cannot tell you how much I love your book 'The Running Dream.' It is by far the best book I have ever read. I got the book from my library on Thursday and just finished a minute ago (Saturday.) I was reading some of the things other people said and I noticed that they wanted you to make a sequel to 'Flipped'. You might not see this, but if you do I just want you to that if you were to make a sequel to any of your books I hope it will be The Running Dream. I am going to reccomend this book to everybody. My grandmother also lost her leg. I loved how this kind of connected me to her. She says it hurts too bad to walk in her prosthetic leg but now that I've read this I'm going to encourage her more than ever. I know I've said this about four times now, but I love this book. Thank you so much for writing this. I'm going to check all of the books you have written and I know I'm going to love them just as much as I love this one.

The first Sammy Keyes book I ever read was, 'The Psycho Kitty Queen'. I loved it! It is now a year later, and I am on a Sammy Keyes palooza! I cannot stop reading them. I am currently in the middle of 'The Wild Things'. You have such a creative way of writing suspense and mystery. And using words that are hardly used anymore. Smart. Like hoity-toity. I have only read that word in 'The Witch of Blackbird Pond'. And I just recently discovered that you wrote 'Flipped'. Another favorite. And I have this weird feeling that Officer Borsch is Sammy's dad. Write faster! I must know if i'm right or wrong!

I absolutely fell in love with Swear to Howdy. At some points, I cried, others I laughed out loud. I've never cried or laughed over a book before, so this was a new experience. I couldn't believe that . . . Well . . . I can't give it away, but I couldn't believe the part in The Breaking Point with Joey had his .22! I cried the hardest at that part, more then I cried in The Lost Ghost! Great book! I thought it had a great ending, one that left me with no questions. Thanks for writing it!

I am a HUGE fan of Van Draanen books. I first got hooked, when i saw Runaway on my teachers classroom bookshelf. I began to read it, and absolutely LOVED it. I've have read Runaway about ten times. Haha. I began to search for more of her books. I read flipped, and fell in love with the characters, and the story line. I have read others, like The Crimson Kiss, and some of the Sammy Keys series. I can't wait to see the movie, and for her to publish another book. (:
