I'm going to school for psychology to specialize in DID. I can't read or learn enough about the disorder. It never fails to amaze me how little the average psychologist knows about DID. Your book was inspirational and insightful. I hope it's used as an educational tool for those who are unaware of the very real and very consuming disorder.

This is one of the best books I've ever read about DID. I have a sweet friend who was physically, sexually abused and tortured throughout her life. She is now 30 yrs old and is still in therapy for her disorder. She also deals with substance abuse, but has been relatively clean for three years. She has a teenage alter that sometimes slips out and uses. I would love to be able to talk with Cameron West. I need suggestions about how to help her in her recovery. I love and am supportive of her, but I still wonder if there's more that I can do. I also pray daily for her. If Mr. West reads this blog, would you please email me! Thank you.

this is one of the most amazing books i have ever read. Suffering from DID myself, it gives me hope there is something out there for me.

This was the best book i have ever read. It is even better because it is his real life! For all those doctors who think he is making it up... thats incredibly stupid! Why would anyone want to make up those horrible experiences!
