bob posts on 12/9/2006 5:13:21 PM good book, could be better...pretty goo though.
posts on 9/1/2006 3:20:32 PM Looking forward to the third book in this excellent series. Seems like most of the great fantasy is on the YA shelves these days. My only complaint is the cover design for the re-issues. Looks like TOR has gone for the god-awful artwork that "graces" all the Robert Jordan books, making it look like some kind of epic sword and sorcery novel. Liked it much better with the covers that let you use your imagination as to what was inside. This isn't a huge deal, but could keep some away from this while drawing in others who won't like it because it isn't moronic drivel like Wheel of Time. Oh well...

Eliz posts on 6/25/2005 12:55:49 PM I didn't understand how Blue found the Book of Beleth in Brimstone's cupboard when the porter took it. But otherwise, I LOVED the book! It was very interesting and action-packed!
