Anna Rose posts on 8/12/2011 7:06:34 PM Dear Jonathan Stroud, I really enjoyed reading your book series. Currently I a m reading The Ring of Solomon. How long did it take you to write this book? Your writing is truly amazing! Bartimaeus is such a complex character. He is both hilarious and very brave. Thank you for entertaining me with such a magnificent novel!
Owen Ten posts on 11/10/2010 11:01:50 AM I've read the trilogy several times and am almost done with The Ring of Solomon. It's the first book in a long, long time where I honestly have a hard time putting it down. It's that good IMO. FWIW, I believe that you don't have to wait for the prequel/Solomon Ring book to read the trilogy. But ... the prequel would be a fantastic place to start.

new reader posts on 11/7/2010 9:46:12 PM Having not ready any of Jonathan Stroud's books yet, I'd like to know if I should wait until after I have read the "prequel", which is due out this week. Granted I'll have to wait to get a copy. Any ideas?
nemesis posts on 6/24/2010 4:52:42 AM Hi there, Bartimaeus is not dead, but Nathaniel is, isn't he? If anyone knows Jonathan stroud's email can you post it? Thank you in advance
Celedi posts on 1/3/2010 5:44:16 AM What wanted the author to convey for the Bartimaeus Trilogy?
Amy White posts on 3/30/2008 3:04:27 PM Hey people- just wondering- does anyone know stroud's email or something? i just finished the series and the end is slowly eating away at my soul. I have to know more!! not that it wasn't amazingly awesoome(it was) but i need to see bartimaeus speak to kitty again(by the way, love bart's name-it awesome). After all, nat's last words to bart were: "Say hello to kitty for me". Come on!! is that not a hint that kitty & bart do meet again?!? or is it just me clinging to any tiny possible reasin for another book?!? Anyway, i want to email stroud & ask, though i doubt he will actually read/answer it. so, any one know his email? thx.

Natha posts on 10/16/2007 6:38:33 AM The ending, in my opinion, was good. Even though I'm fond of Nathaniel as a character, and of course it was tragic that he had to die. But since it was for a good cause it makes it a whole lot easier to accept. while reading the second and the third book I became quite frustrated by the way Nathaniel acted at times (I even became frustrated with Bartimaeus a few times as well), so I'm really glad he finally came to his senses. The way in which he died was honourable and I feel satisfied by how he released Bartimaeus to show how much their relationship actually meant. Kitty is, as well as Bartimaeus and Nathaniel, an interesting character and I think it's good that she survived. Thanks to her, Bart and Nat and some other brave more open-minded persons the way London is ruled might change to the better. The character developement and the relationship development between the characters is amazing, and that's one of the reasons why the Bartimaeus Trilogy is great! I like the Trilogy and I'd like keep it that way, as a trilogy, since I actually accept the ending as it is. I apologize, my use of the english language can't really describe all the thoughts I have in my head about these books. One things is for sure and it's that Jonathan Stroud has made three very interesting books, and I thank him for the enjoyable time I spent reading them!
