Does anybody know in which book Camus wrote "A loveless world is a dead world, and alwaysthere comes an hour when one is wear of prisons, and all one craves for is a warm face, The warmth and wonder of aloving heart."?

Hello, when i was a kid i saw a book at my Grandmothers house, ALbert Camus 'The Plague' on the front cover was a very dark 'Modern art' painting of a Rat.. it looks like a Picasso, i kind of remember thinking what a great painting, and think it was called 'Il Mort' by Picasso, but hours of searching on the web produced no results, i never read the book then, i was only about 11 or so,.. does anyone know thw artist please?# Marc

I'm looking for a quote by Camus saying something like, "if we don't want the 21st century to be as harsh as the 20th century, we have to take a critical view of each innovation at an early stage." Anyone know where I could find that?
