It appears to me that Miranda almost immitates G.P. in her relationship with Clegg. She is the sexual preditor, the 'teacher', the arrogant boss figure. As Clegg seems to accept her ironic dominance (considering she's been kidnapped by him) she too had previously accepted and enjoyed G.p's dominance over her. She had been the prude: the 'Clegg' to G.p.'s Miranda! Mirroring relationships? Who is really exploiting or dominating who? The central theme is one of psychological power. Anyone agree?
