The Barn Theatre, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire England AL8 6LD. We start the U>K> premiere of this wonderful play on the 14th October for eight nights. It is a beautiful piece of writing and has been a joy to rehearse as well as making us laugh and cry. If you are in the area at that time (20 miles from North London), do come and see us - especially you, Joe!

I am currently playing the role of Nick at The Bradley Playhouse in Putnam,CT and I can relate to this character SO much, I knew when I read the script that I MUST have that role! Bravo--a wonderful play and a real pleasure to be a part of! If there is any "Over the River.." merchandise, we are looking for a gift for our director! PLease let me know!

We're doing DiPietro's play in our community theater and need his bio for our program. Apparently he writes more than plays. Good for him! But OTRATTW is a multi-layered piece - hope he writes more plays with the same depth and understanding of human nature. It has been produced twice just west of us, but we're sure our Sun City Players Community Theater audiences will find it the best pieces we've done in years.

So then, we decided to look up the author Joe DiPietro, and found this web site.
