M. Beechum posts on 5/21/2005 10:53:36 AM "It was a different world back then," Katie McNeill, the book's heroine says in recalling the events which shaped her life. A Soldier's Love is a World War II romance with an edge. Far from being a look at the past with rose-colored glasses, this book is a realistic portrayal of life during the war-torn years. The old-fashioned, narrative style writing sweeps the reader through the lives of army Capt. Ron Miller and his soon-to-be wife, Katie. All of the characters come to life and make you laugh and cry with them. This is a "must read" for any fan of World War II romance.
L.K. Campbell posts on 3/11/2005 5:37:29 PM I'm pleased to announce that my second novel, Gold Star Wife has been accepted for publication by Vintage Romance Publishing. The anticipated release date is this summer. Vintage is an up and coming publisher out of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. They publish romance of the historical genre.
