Judith, the "Professor was the computer class teacher that abused Rins's two boys in "The Ritual Bath" but I dont think the boys spoke of it in full until later novels.....

Stone Kiss left me puzzled. I've read hungreds of mysteries over 50 years, but I'm at a loss as to the relevance of the 'professor' killed at the end, What did I miss?

I read the Ritual Bath and enjoyed it so much that I looked up all the books written by Faye Kellerman. I enjoy the chacters Peter Decker and Rita Lazarus. I also read Justice. I just finished SunStroke. I also listen to the Books on CD's. I find that Peter Decker and Rita Lazarus are a good match. I am glad that they married. I think they balance each other. I believe that he would not be a strong character if it was not for Rina. I am also a John Grisham Fan have everyone of his books and also movies from his books. I never thought I would admit that another writer could take his place or catch my intrest. Well,I believe I have found that author. Thank-you

I enjoyed The Burnt House but I raced to the end to see how Beth's body got under the three story apartment house that was hit by Westair Flight #1324. Who put it there? When did it get there? Who transported it there?

I've been reading The Forgotten off and on, so must have missed something. Why did Darrell Holt kill first Ernesto and Tarpin, then the Balwins?

Bruno, you're right, DUI means Driving Under the Influence (of something usually intoxicating or debilitating). Some jurisdictions use the term DWI, which means Driving While Intoxicated. And BAL refers to Blood Alcohol Level. It is recorded in milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood, or milligrams percent. For example, a BAL of .10 means that 1/10 of 1 percent (or 1/1000) of your total blood content is alcohol. In most states in the US of A a BAL of 0.08% is enough to have oneself outfitted in a nice orange jumpsuit and picking up trash along highways or cutting grass at government owned facilities. This is known as "Community Service" (and is the sentence for most 1st offenders).

Hello, I don't think Rina is that troublesome a character. I feel that we just don't have as much insight into her as a person as we do others. I hope we will see more of Terry and Chris in the future. I would like to see Chris saved as a person. A normal life for Terry, Chris and their son. But Chris maybe too damaged to hope for that. Also, Cindy and Koby are a powerful couple together. Happy Reading

I just wanted to know if anyone else out there thinks that Rena Decker is the most annoying character ever written. She comes off as incredibly self-righteous and not at all appreciative of Peter and her sons do not appreciate all he does either. What does Peter get out of this relationship?
