We have been sharing an advance copy of James O. Born's newest thriller. It is just great. Not the comic opera of his last book. Still some humor but he creates a world and plot that are breathtaking and chilling. It is propbably the nest crime novel I've read this year.

After reading the paperback of Walking Money I had to get his next novel immediately. Shock Wave was even better. I was shocked to learn that he was a brand new author. I will eagerly await anything James writes.
He write about a cop in Florida who get into all kinds or crazy trouble and has a dependable sidekick whois just as funny.
I loved it.

James O. Born's second novel, Shock Wave is just great! It is funny and moves so fast I was sorry I was at the end so quickly. It follows the investigation to a bomber and shows all kinds of actual police work. Loved it.

Walking Money is an outstanding book. It is well conceived, funny, fast and intelligent.
I would look for more books by this guy.
