Sarah, other similar authors I can think of are her two sister's books; Emily Bronte (Wuthering Heights) and Anne Bronte (Agnes Grey). You would also enjoy Jane Austen who wrote (Emma, Pride & Prejudice and Persuasion). Another book is by Susanna Kearsley (The Winter Sea) it goes into that era in a wonderful story. Keep up the great reading.

One of my main sources for easy access info is sparknotes.com they have pretty good stuff. I am not sure if Brontes are included but check there first.

I was really surprised when i read Jane Eyre, I was assigned to read three of her works. So far, I've only read Jane Eyre, i am hooked. Any other good authors from that era besides Jane Austen?
