I have read all of annie's books and I can find no one on her emotional level.Blood and gold left me wanting something more that isn't available.Anne must continue to write or teach another to do so.She started something within the souls of the vampire that makes us desire so much more.

Was delighted to read in the Times Picayune that Anne Rice is doing well in California. Congrats to her son, Christopher on his 4th book. Happy B-Day Christopher. As everyone knows the city has definately changed since Hurricane Katrina, but it hasnt really felt like home since Anne Rice left New Orleans. I adore your writings, especially THe witching hour. I attended St Alphonsus School, live in the irish channel,(4th street) and am very fond of St. Alphonsus Church and St. Mary's Assumption Church. I enjoyed standing in long lines at your book signings. Toured St. Elizabeths and your doll collection on the walking Christmas Tours. Stood in line for 4 hours at the blook bank to donate blood to get a plastic rate with your auto graph on it. Camped out for the opening of Lestate.(ate rice cakes instead of popcorn)Had some of the best times of my life reading your books. You are truly a gem, and one that is sadly missed. In regards to your writings, from vampires/witches to the lord. It doesnt matter, if you write it, I will read it. Presently reading Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt and in true Rice Form, I cant wait to finish it, and start the next book. I am very happy for you that you have found your new calling. I wish you and Christopher health, happines, and success.

can anyone give me a review of cry to heaven? I have the book but after reading the summary it doesn't sound as great as her other books.

I wish Anne would write another book like Cry to Heaven or Feast of All Saints...they are so gut-wrenching and yearning, with real characters...I adore the writing style...and though I did enjoy Interview, the rest of that book line lost something...seem too contrived and forced... thanks for listening...
