Heck yes! It is my favorite series. I love unicorns, and the intricate plotting and character developement is awesome! She has inspired me to write my own books. My favorite character is Aljan and Illishar, because they are both enemies who eventually came to a peaceful compromise. And they both are fighting for lands that they believe are theirs.

No, the two books are not related in any way. One is about the mythical animal, the unicorn, and the other is about wolves. But appearences may be decieving. "The Birth of the Firebringer"'s unicorns are not the unicorns we have all heard about in fairy tales. These unicorns are warriors who have killed enemies and defended the land they believed to be theirs.

Hello i have recently find out about Meredith Ann Pierce's book called "The Birth of Firebringer"... does anyone know if it is related to David Clement-Davies book called "Firebringer". If he birth is firebringer any good. If you are looking for an excellent read try David Clement-Davies as well!

wow you wrote your own alternative? that's great!! my fav of the three is definitely darkangel as well. (it was really weird how they exchanged hearts though at the end of #3!!) has anybody read any of her other books? what are they like?

lol! I loved these books too..so much that when I had to do a graduation project before graduating high school...I wrote one of my own. I was just playing aroudn with some things, but everyone who's read it has liked it; and I really enjoyed writing it. I was also dissappointed with MAP's ending, not everything can be happy, but I made it so it was. ^_~
