LynneCole, Valentina said that you were the only one who posted here so I didn't want you to feel that you were the only one who enjoyed Tim Dorsey's books. Each time he brings out another one, I go back and read them all in preparation for the new one...Such an incredibly comic character, that Serge...and, if you are from Florida, Mr. Dorsey certainly translates his love and enthusiasm for your home state admirably. You've got to go see him at one of his book signings...he speaks about his travels and road-trips in search of the trivial and sometimes utterly useless knowledge of Florida that he can work into his books...it's great stuff...Lynne, write me at mncwolf 36 at hot mail...would love to talk with you about our shared love of Serge A Storms...

Mr. Dorsey's main character is a homicidal maniac. Who has a charming alter-ego. All his friends are total losers, many of whom wind up dead by Serge's hand or one of his other loser friend's hand. Serge has an irresistable urge (pqthological I presume) to stop and gather historical facts and memorabilia, adding an historical travelogue tangent to each story. One is always left speechless by Serge's method of doing away with his intended victim. I believe his book reviews are mostly covered.

Lynne-You seem to be the only one to post here. What did this author write?

What can I say to or about the man who created a character like Serge? I don't know whether to bow or run. But Tim Dorsey's books ( I've read them all & love them all) are irreplaceable Viva la Dorsey!
