I can't be too much of a help because I never read or saw the movie "The Wedding Date," but I can tell you that "Asking for Trouble" has the same idea. However the wedding part is just the beginning of the book the rest focuses on the relationship that the date and the main character develop. I highly recommend that you read "Asking for Trouble." It was so funny and you'll just fall in love with the characters. I promise!!!

I enjoyed the movie, and I wanted to read the book. I wasnt sure which book to get.
Thanks
