From the first book i stumbled upon ( wind mills of the gods ) to the last that i read ( the other side of me ) i am still wondering how on earth he did it. I enjoy reading each over and over again. I was wondering what is taking him soo long to write another only to find out he past. His writing will live on.

Sidney Sheldon was one of the greatest authors of his times. he had produced story-gripping books and characters that stay with the reader forever. He is by far the best fiction writer that i have read from.
RIP....

Liza,
I have to say, this was the first and might add the best of his I ever read. I wasn't dissapointed to not find one as good, and maybe it was because it was the first I read that I enjoyed it more than the others.
I remember watching it on TV with Jaclyn Smith (From Charlies ANGELS!!! The Angel link...lol) playing Jennifer Parker, and enjoying something on TV almost as much as the book.
I got my wife hooked on his books after reading Rage of Angels, and when a new book came out we used to read it together (me being the quicker reader waiting in anticipation to turn the page) I got my Mum and sister into reading them and they used to borrow my book (until my sister got that hooked she couldn't wait and bought her own)
I once read one of Mr Sheldon's novels in less than 2 days (I think it was the Stars Shine Down) I was driving to Barcelona and read for the whole 7 hours on the Boat instead of sleeping.
He gave me many many hours of happy readin (and quite a few sad hours, tears streaming down my face, even sobbing, such was the depth of his writting)
