I love the book, but the new movie is alot better, because of all of the special effects and the actors were great. im about half way through the book and i really like it so far.

I think that the American way is somewhat better than the original setting in Eroupe, because it is hosted by an American Company; but, there should have been more about the whole world instead of just the USA. Don't forget when the movie the Time Mechine was realeased it was based in England, not America. The fact is, its still the same story just a different setting of where it takes place.

I am currently writing a dissertation on the Americanisation of adapted British texts. The main focus will be a comparison between your War of the World (2005) and Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone (2001), both based on British texts and both financed by American production companies. Yet War of the Worlds (2005) is set in the US and feels by all accounts like an American movie, while Harry Potter seems to have kept its British feel. I would like to know how readers of HG Wells feel about this Americanisation of his classic text?

I appreciate your time, if anyone else has anything else to add please do. I need to hand this in on Friday, make sure I have included everything. And what did you exactly mean by Wells Personal Philosophies?

Hello, i have an essay on H.G. Well's 'The Time Machine' in which an essay title can be slightly tweaked, but is to do with how Well's represents society through the Eloi and Morlocks, Subterranean classes. Is he talking about Communism? So far i have written about how Well's portrays his characters. If I could recieve some additional help, not so it would effect coursework regulations or by giving me help (which would be cheating), but just a general idea on what else i can write, talk about and emphasise on. Thanks, in advance. Mark
