Lee posts on 8/2/2012 6:03:30 PM I came across these graves in about 1980 and made tracings of them at that time. I still have those tracings. Very interesting.
Horace posts on 11/18/2011 3:04:45 AM I came across the graves two days ago. Incredibly beautiful view. I took photos. I read Zane Grey's books as a child. How I would love to hear the stories your grandmother told.

Sonya Pereira posts on 2/20/2011 10:57:24 PM In case anyone wonders, Susie Hayden is Ben Copple's mother (my great grandmother), and was full blooded Modoc from N California/Oregon.
ralphie posts on 12/26/2010 8:49:10 PM Actually, you have the dates wrong. susie Hayden's grave is 1840-1947; she was 93. Benjamin's dates are different, right next to her.
Sonya Pereira posts on 11/29/2008 9:34:11 PM Ben Copple was my great uncle on my mother's side. I would love to learn more about him. I remember my mother loved to tell the story passed down from her father about Ben being a scout for Zane Grey.
Mark Dolce posts on 4/20/2005 9:51:19 PM Near Cornville, Arizona on a fairly remote hill is the grave stone of Benjamin Franklin Copple (1847-1940) with the inscription; Guide to Zane Grey. Where can I find information about Copple?
edisonchunk posts on 3/15/2005 2:55:34 PM I have said books for sale on ebay, with a no reserve starting bid of $500. If interested, check it out. I think it is the best set you will find anywhere!! Good luck. edisonchunk
