A friend of mine just passed along all of his Terry Brooks to me. What starting age level do you think these books would be appropriate for?

Several of Terry's books are slated to be made into movies...Including the shannara series and Magic Kingdom :)

i think not only should it be made a movie(the series) but think that morgan freedmen would be a great action for this movie as allanon the druid.

These books are not as good as everyone says. There are plenty of other fantasy fiction books that are far more amazing.

I think that the original Shannara series would be a great movie, to an extent. I Think most people would do a horrible job. And I agree with the fact that if it was released too soon, it would be taken as a rip off of LOTR. Maybe in the future, a person who really understands the fans of the books, and has great ideas for the film, would do a good job...maybe...

Did Terry Brooks stopped writing after he wrote Straken? Where is Terry Brooks official site. . ? He ought to have an official site better than JKR at least. . . I mean, who likes Harry Potter? Really?

The book is very well made and I'd like to see it prosper one more time. May be people who are fan of Terry Brooks might be disappointed if Terry Brooks makes another series of Shannara; but in my opinion, but should Terry make the latter in better format like Harry Potter, the series of Shannara will again lightened up like it had long time ago.
