The Guardian posts on 1/26/2006 7:29:17 PM Indeed they are, you can find the full edition at your local Barns and Noble.
David posts on 1/25/2006 5:35:53 PM I am a great fan of Amber and have been searching for a fan page on Amber. are those books still up for sale.
The Guardian posts on 12/11/2005 8:38:16 PM Bale as Corwin... hmm... I don't know, I happen to think him better as the batman. However, I can't think of anyone else as the character. If some one were to create an Amber movie series, they'd have to be a damn fine director, along the lines of peter jackson, or james cameron... or Chris Nolan... I'd love to see it... the only question is when and how? -The Guardian
Bob Pantelis posts on 12/10/2005 4:36:31 PM I have the first 5 Amber Books unabridged in mint condition, read by the author. Anyone interested???
Raging posts on 12/9/2005 3:32:39 AM Christian Bale. Is Corwin. Trust me. Any more news on a film?
Steffie posts on 12/1/2005 2:01:06 PM Corwin: I think someone a bit harsher than Johnny Depp. I saw a trump of him as George Clooney once. As a photo, it wasn't half bad. Random: David Wenham Dworkin: Iain Holme Oberon: ...gah. NO idea. If they were to make a movie, I sincerely hope they get unknown actors and actresses to do it. The problem with making an Amber movie, which we saw in Dune, is that their entire culture is practically based on lying. You can't ACT and hide your emotions to the extent that Amberites do. Not without looking like bloody transparant politicians. And voice-overs of inner thoughts are just cheezy.
Mr. T posts on 9/6/2005 6:21:36 PM Zelazny never wanted any more Amber books written, not by anyone. That was his one true wish for his literary works. Whatever else, no one was to write Amber books. I find it appauling that not only were more books written--against his wishes--but that they were written by Betancourt, who you know was hired not for his abilities as a writer, but because he was affordable. His writing is abysmal. My cat, seven years dead, could have done better.
