Wow, this book was literally amazing. It was so touching and had a good mix of emotions. You had me crying buckets then laughing, it was truly a piece of work. I got this book in my school library and truthfully just picked it random, I'm so glad I chose it though because it is one (if not the) of the best reading selections I've ever read and I would advise anyone of any age to read it. You are a truly inspiring writer, thank you.

My 11 year old high functioning autistic daughter was recommended this book by her school librarian, and was extremely upset by the book. She felt that it validated her feelings for suicide, describing Adam's decision as "couragous". Please don't help the 1 out of 150 autistic children diagnosed today with this message. They need a message of hope and courage.

Hi,I am doing a book project on your book Here Today, and i was just wondering what one of the themes from the novel would be.

Dear Ann, I jus finished reading your book "A Corner of the Universe," and I absolutely loved it!!! I'm in seventh grade and I'm doing a book report on it. I had a few questions that I was hoping you couldanswer ASAP. Is Hatie's relationship with Adam forged? What is the theme in the book? Is Hattie or Owen the main charcter? What is the internal and or external conflict? Thank you very much for your time! Please email me with your responses to the questins. Thank You, Claire

I absolutely loved your book "A Corner of the Universe"! I have recently started working as a carer for an organisation that looks after people who have disabilities. Your portrayal of Adam's character was so real, and gave us a glimpse of what life is like from another view point. I was never exactly able to pin-point what intellectual disability Adam had. I suspect autism. Is this correct?

Ann Martin, at my school we are doing "Meet the Authors". You are our chosen author to report on. My part of the report is to prepare your favorite food and have a sampling available. I found on your web site that you do not like to cook but you like chocolate. Could you please let me know what your favorite food is as well as your favorite chocolate food. Thank you.
