There are two instances in the story when the narrator is drenched in water. Identify how these incidents are considered baptisms giving the narrator a new beginning or rebirth.

Greetings, Justine: I was a bit puzzled by your remarks that stated that Ralph Ellison's book was boring. Could you elaborate a bit to explain to many of us who aree well read and scholarly why you felt that a Negro author, writing a very timely and placed social-historical protest narrative about American Society and how it treats people who do not conform to their way of operating, is boring? Was the author of Cather in the Rye boring? Because if the turth is boring, than bore straight. Exciting lies don't appeal to me!
