I just sent an email to Simon and Schuster regarding the Patricia Harwin Far Wychwood books. If you go to their website you can do the same. I was polite but asked them to please work out the problems so we can get more books.

I read these books several years ago and like y'all was so disappointed that there weren't anymore. I don't understand it, but apparently there was some issue with her publishing company and they didn't want to publish anymore of her books, but she wasn't allowed to have another company do so. You'd have to google it and find out exactly what the deal is. I guess this late in the game, she won't be writing any more Far Wychwood books. It's a real shame. She's a great author and the books are so enjoyable.

I just happened to stumble upon Patricia Harwin at the library. Was I disappointed that she only had two books published. Are you kidding me?? I appreciate how she walks some of us American's through the English, English, but keeps you entertained and wanting more. There are so many writer's that write the same book fifteen times and they keep getting published. Give this writer a chance!! I realize this begging is probably in vain as her last book was written in 2005??, however I need more! It sounds like others out there do too. Apologies for the horrible grammar, however when one is passionate about some things grammar takes a back seat. Come on! Bring on some Harwin!!

I just finished the second book, after stumbling across the first in my local used book store a few months ago...I put off reading it as long as possible because I knew there was not yet another one. I trully hope you get a publisher, or even publish it yourself on a blog or something. Lori Avocato, another author I love, just published hers on her local website as the publisher didn't pick up the book - it was number 6 or so in the series. Perhaps you can do that? So many fans are looking for more of Catherine (we all want to be there in Far Wychwood)! Hope you're still writing, and thanks for the wonderful books.

I have also just read your first Far Wychwood Mystery and thoroughly enjoyed. I've just started on the second. Are there any plans for more?

Just discovered your two books about Catherine and loved them immensely. Good stories about a 60 year old amateur detective. Am sorry to learn that that is all that will be written. I enjoy reading good, clean, nonviolent mysteries. Not too many of them printed today.

Ms. Harwin - I just now went looking on the internet to see when the 3rd book would be out and was very upset to hear the sad news! What an idiotic publisher. I will be sending them a letter regarding my displeasure regarding their dicision to drop this wonderful series. Maybe if everyone did this, we will encourage them to reexamine this poor decision. We want more books in this series!

Patricia, I kept looking for a third book and I just found out that you won't be publishing one....I am so sorry, I just love the two you wrote.

I just discovered Patricia Harwin and Catherine. I did a search to find out what other books are in the series and am so very disappointed to learn that there will be no more. What a wonderful character Catherine is! She is smart, funny, feisty and all too human.
Patricia - thank you for the 2 books that did get published. They were a wonderful gift.

I am still hoping that Patricia hasn't completely given up hope of publishing additional books to her series. It is so hard to find new books like this to enjoy. Is there anyone the fans can write to that would help get the books published? This is so unfair considering some of the stuff I have tried to read and can't get past the third chapter.
