I have over the year read a lot of SF books, over and over again but this is the first book in a long while that realy got me on the edge of my seat. I like a good story and this book, does that with style. If I had one criticism it would be to many chapters, this seamed to be tied yp with time and dates but explanation given why time and date required. Cant wait till the next Mike Brogue adventue.

I'm a 44 year old biblioholic especially of the science fiction genre. I just finished "Phobos" and I loved it. I found Lt Mike Brogue to be a truly believable character and hope to read more of him and his
'Red' Hammers in the near future.
