David M. Clew posts on 7/2/2009 3:28:46 PM Dear Ann Rule: I am very much interested inforensic science and therefore enjoyed your book Small Sacrifices very much, especially when the woman's story conflicts with the position of the bloodstain on the door of the car. Certainly this type of detail is a cut above the ordinary novel, in which the emphasis is on suspense and violence. Your books are certainly in a class with those of my favorite mystery writers, R.Austin Freeman,Raymond Chandler and Conan Doyle. Another true-crime novel which I like very much is Fatal Vision by Ed Guinness. I look forward to reading more of your books.

Kay Rookhuyzen posts on 7/18/2005 12:50:42 AM This book was very well written. The subject matter is sickening but makes you think. I think she is lucky she took the plea bargain. I would have liked to see her get the death penalty. Glad Dr. Farrar and Lissa are moving on with their lives.
