I have read every book that I could find by Carlene Thompson, and by far, she is my favorite author. I have not read the latest, LAST TIME SEEN ALIVE, but i plan to get it as soon as possible. Carlene, i hope you continue writing!I have passed the books on to my physician, and she told me she could not put them down.

if they don't already have a movie out based on this novel, they should! Though i have not read the book yet, i know all about it , thanks so my best friend. It took her about an hour to tell me the story but it was worth it! Even though i know the killer, i still plan on reading the book

I stumbled upon Carlenes books by accident at a local bookstore. Living in the local area as she, I couldn't resist the read. I LOVE her books. I can't seem to get enough of her books. I've got three to go and I've read them all. Great works! We are blessed to have a writer that cares about animals and treats us with stories that includes "mans best friends".

though i am only 16 years old I have read two of her books including, In The Event Of My Death, and Dont Close Your Eyes. I thought they were both great books and can't wait to read more of her books.

As a teacher of 10th - 12th grade resource language arts classes at Poca High School, I am looking for high-interest (mystery - no sex) paperback books for my classes. Since You've Been Gone was recommended by a student at another school, but I'm afraid it might be too long. Plus, I have not read it yet. What are your recommendations? What is approximate cost per book? Is an audio available? Please keep in mind I usually have to purchase about 20 copies, and my school funds will not cover all of the cost so I will have to personally cover the cost for part.
