Letters to Emily is one of the best books that I have read in some time. The characters are so realistic and the story is very touching. Once I started the book I really hated to put it down. The book definitely brings out all the emotions. My parents kept secrets from my sister and brother about their past and now that they are gone we have no way to know what happened in their past. Reading this book makes me wish that I could find letters like to this to unravel the past. This author needs to write more books like this.

I was wondering what the "five balls" are in this story. I know it is like work, family, friends and two other ones. It says three are glass and two are rubber. What do the balls represent?

I really liked this story- the way the author wrote it, made it very vivid and able to imagine! Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down!!! I'm so glad my American Literature teacher required me to read such a wonderful, fascinating book!!! I DEFINETELY RECOMEND IT!!! You just gotta read it!!!

Ich habe mir vor ein paar Tagen dieses Buch gekauft und es so schnell gelesen, wie kein anderes. Noch nie habe ich geweint, wenn ich ein Buch gelesen habe. Doch diesmal war ich zu Tränen gerührt. "Briefe für Emily" hat mir geholfen über meinen eigenen Schatten zu springen. Mir wurde klar, wie wichtig es ist auch selbst einmal zurück zu stecken. Ich kann meine Gefühle schlecht in Worten ausdrücken, aber DANKE Cameron Wright reicht bei weitem nicht.
