When Mia remembers that she still has Tasha's medicine, she listens at the door and hears her alpha male navy lieutenant crying. She knocks on the door, he lets her in and they really talk. It was so sweet and romantic.

I really enjoyed Hot Target. After reading the book, I am now listening to the audio tapes. I think that SB did a wonderful job with Jules's story. It was very romantic. I wonder what she has in store for Jules in later books.

I actually felt that Hot Target was a wonderful story. Although I agree that the story was much more Jule's then Cosmo's, I felt it was handled wonderfully and enjoyed it, as I do all her books!

Disappointed in Hot Target

I was very disappointed in this book. This is not Cosmo's story; it is Jules' story. All the publicity about this book led me to believe that I would finally uncover the deep mystery behind Cosmo and not just on one scene where he apparently felt compelled to explain his life story to a character he did not respect. I thought Suzanne Brockmann had previously stated that her readers were not ready for a gay storyline. Apparently she changed her mind. This is not a SEAL story. It seems that Cosmo's story would be more substantial and not so much fluff. As much as I have enjoyed Suzanne's previous books, I was not happy with this story.
