The Friends of the Haywood County Library and Writers Alive! are sponsoring a bookfair August 6, 2005. It will be supported by Osondu Book Sellers in Waynesville, NC. We would be honored to host Ms. McCrumb if it is possible for her.

I also love If I Had Killed Him When I Met Him. It's a very funny book, Missing Susan was also good. I have not read many of her other books I can't seem to get into them.

My favorite scene in the McCrumb books was the party in If I had Killed him When I Met Him, where the lady asks Bill to help her marry a dolphin.
