I just finished Jo Goodman's "Beyond a Wicked Kiss". I was thrilled at first to find an author who wrote so beautifully until I got to the second half of the book. It was so dark and so degrading to women I nearly became ill.
I was temped to set it aside. The villian were into sadomasochism and bondage and she decribed it in detail. She also allowed some of it to happen to the heroine.
Still the beginning was soo good I am wondering if this is the way Goodman writes all the time or if she just jumped off the deep end with this one.
