My father is a vetran of the southern theatre having fought in N Africa, Sicily, Anzio, France and Bavaria. He absolutely relished your first book and eagerly awaits Vol 2. He is 91 so don't take too long. Looking forward to Fall 2007 Thanks

I just read An Army at Dawn-masterfully written. Have now begun The Long Gray Line . For anyone anxiously awaiting book 2 of the trilogy, as I am, pick this one up. I'm only 110 pages in and, again, really enjoying Rick's wonderful storytelling.
