I knew Nanci for several years while she was the coach's wife at Univ. of Wyoming. Little did I know how carefully she was paying attention to all the many "games" being played. I have read all of her stories and am thrilled by her sense of humor.delicious words and observations.

Nanci has four books out -- Verbena, Balls, Pretending The Bed Is A Raft and the most recent, As Hot As It Was You Ought To Thank Me. PTBIAR was made in to a movie, re-titled My Life Without Me. All of Nanci's books are available on Amazon. Nanci grew up in Florida and Virginia. She now lives in California, where her husband is a college football coach.

I'm a bit older but am a football fan who was living in Alabama in the time period when this book began, and let me tell you, she nailed it! I am now trying to locate her other work.
What I would really love to hear is some biographical information on Nanci, if anybody knows it. Nobody writes about a football coach's wife the way she did unless she's been there. :)
