I ABSOLUTELY loved the new book Home to Holly Springs. My very favorite was the last night Fr. Tim spent with his new friends living in his original homestead. Who would have thought that Fr. Tim would have a whole new world opening up in his past - brilliant, spiritually great. You are more and more amazing just when I thought the Mitford books were over! Thanks, thanks thanks!

I am wondering if the 2007 book is in book stores? Have read the whole Mitford series and really enjoyed them.

Your Mitford Series broke a seven-year reading block for me, and has given me such pleasure and painful joy it's impossible to describe. Thank you. How limp! But thank you and blessings. Please let there be more of Father Tim. I love his dear thinning hairline. And Cynthia's precious and random pink curlers... I almost wept! I too use pink curlers to touch up the wayward wisps!

Ms. Karon you are surely the most beautiful lady I have ever read. Hearing the interview broadcast on 102.3 here in Toledo was the highlight of my day. I have MS and am primarily confined to a wheelchair or walker most of the time and was estatic to hear your voice.
My Mother was a short story writer and poet. Recently I have been writing fairy tales for various people instead of buying birthday cards! Keep writing and God be with you in your Christian walk.

I read in the back cover of one of Jan Karon's novels that a new series titled Father Tim Novels will be releasing in 2007. I want to confirm this so can someone tell me for sure? If it i true I will be the happiest person in NY but heart is in MITFORD, NC.

Dear Jan,
I began listening to a book on CD on a
trip to Kentucky in Sept. After 2 books on cassettes later, I thought I
should go to the first book and listen
and or read it to find out who the characters were. It has been such a delight. I am now on Climb that mountain and have decided when I retire to move to Mitford. Just kidding. Thank you for writing such fun, but yet thought provoking books.
I especially love the senior characters.
