Rita Mae Brown Message Board

Mary @ the Lazy V posts on 10/18/2005 4:44:02 PM I am such a fan that when my husband and I went to see Monticello, I made him drive by Crozet! Not much happening on an early Sunday morning. We met a docent at Monticello who lives near Crozet and she says Rita Mae is just like plain folks, and a crack up at parties! If you like the setting for her books, you would also like Margaret Maron's Deborah Knott series.
fanatic posts on 5/26/2005 12:54:17 AM I started reading this series last winter while I was stuck inside and trying to hide from family members during the holidays. (lol) I love animals and I love mysteries. Great combination. I've tried reading cat/mysteries in the past and found them all very dull. I like Harry. I like her determination and independent nature. Honestly hope she does not end up with her ex, tho. One indiscretion can be attributed to human nature, but several shows a lack of character. (Esp when he had a faithful wife at home.)
Pat posts on 4/28/2005 8:44:16 PM I am looking for 2 5-10 page book reviews of Rubyfruit Jungle. Does anyone know a good place to look?
