The Scent of Magic is the greatest book of all time. Rolf, my favorite character, fights the crazy dragon and inspires me to be as brave as him! It shook him like a dog! and he still persevered. Not only is this an inspiration to me, but to my family as well and I will continue reading this to my one year old child. This book is up there with the classics such as Harry Potter, Horton Hears a Who and Beowulf. I can't stop reading this book. It is like a dream that never ends. Except it does. BUT IS CONTINUED IN BOOKS 2 AND 3!! I also read the book Beyond the Clipboard because of my addiction to his eloquent writing style. Every one of those books could easily be turned into an oscar winning film. Richard Seaborg is my hero!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <33333

Hey, good luck with the book. You never know when it will become the next "big thing".

My brother and I are hammering out the screenplay now. In fact, we'll be meeting this weekend to go over the next few scenes. Hopefully, we'll be able to find a studio quickly once it's done. I'm already picturing actors and actresses in my mind for the leads.

Its going to be made into a screenplay? I'm so happy for Mr. Seaborg. I hope everything goes well. I'll go and see it and be like "He was my teacher" Then I'll have to stalk him and get him to sign my DVD

I'm currently at Thurmont Middle School in Thurmont Maryland. The Scent of Magic has been re-released with a new cover, and this summer it will be turned into a screenplay (hopefully).
