Hi! I read the book some months ago and I really enjoyed it! It was very interesting to read about how life was before the second world war. It is fascinating how the author is trying to indicate the feelings of the people living at that time. Laurie Lee especially describes the way children felt and grew up during that time very well. But could you send me a review of the plot of this book, because we do need it for school? Thanks!

such cynical relativism makes me realise why I distrusted the general ethos and aesthetic of 'Cider With Rosie' even tho I did not understand what I mistrusted so much at the time mik

‘Recalling it differently, as we were bound to, what was it, in fact, we saw? Which one among us has the truth of it now? And which one shall be the judge? The truth is, of course, that there is no pure truth, only the moody account of witness' any help would be much appreciated. Kind regards, Graeme Holmes

i read this book a long time ago but thoroughly anjoyed it. it takes place before the second world war so describes a landscape and lifestyle that probably doesn't exist anymore in spain.
