I first got my hand on The Bachelor and I thought it was good. Lots of sexual tension between Roman and Charlotte and the sexy scenes were hot. And at the back of the book was a short stint of The Playboy, which seemed promising. So that prompted me to get the book but sadly the story was a letdown.
There wasn't much sizzling attraction between Kendall and Rick and the title of the book didn't live up to its name. Rick was nothing like a playboy. He was very ordinary goodlooking cop and that was it.
Even the sex scene was a washout.
The only salvaging part was Kendall's worldly 14 year old kid sister. She may sound like your day to day teenager but at least she got more brains then Kendall. It takes her younger sis to knock some sense into Kendall.
And I think Lisa the character was more daring than Kendall despite being a bitch.
If I'm to rate this book on the scale of ten I would only give 4.
I'm trying to get my hands on The Heartbreaker and I certainly hope it will be a better story.
